History

Solomon was born in Tottenham, North London. He is one of five children. At the age of six Solomon and his family moved from London and lived in Jamaica and then Ghana. Upon moving back to the UK, Solomon's mother enrolled him in ballet classes. His talent was quickly noticed and his then ballet teacher, Helen Petit, suggested he audition for The Royal Ballet School. He was offered a full scholarship after the first round of auditions, a year after his first ballet class.
