Gwen Verdon, the famed petite, redhaired triple-threat, and Bob Fosse, the workaholic choreographer, were married in 1960, and shortly thereafter decided to have children. Nicole was Fosse's only child, and Gwen's second. Nicole has taken various roles in her father's films, and, in 1999, teamed with her mother to create the Broadway smash "Fosse".
