History

Lien Binh Phat is the break out Vietnamese star of 2018. With no prior acting experiences, he won the leading role of Dung after four months of auditions. For his feature debut role of Dung in Song Lang, he received the Gemstone Award for rising star at the Tokyo International Film Festival 2018; Face of the Year Award (Ngoi Sao Xanh) for Best Actor in a Feature Film from Today TV, and from Vietnam Cinema Association (VCA) for Best Actor. After the critical success of Song lang, he is now one of the most sought after leading man in Vietnam. Next he will star in Ngoi Nha Buom Buom (The Butterfly House), a remake of The Birdcage, which scheduled for release in April 2019.
