To escape his life of crime, a Paris drug dealer takes on one last job involving Spain, unhinged gangsters, his longtime crush and his scheming mother.

Louise and Blanche run L'Etape, a cafe restaurant in a Savoy village. Facing them is Le Virage, run by Lucie and her daughters. The rivalry between the two cafes will be exacerbated during the truckers' strike that blocks the village.

All three grapple with isolation and the problems of modern living, but one of them could be so desperately alienated that they have a hand in the serial murders.
