Jorge Villafañez is a rotund, veteran private detective living alone in a high-rise apartment in Buenos Aires. Discreet and meticulous, he has a knack of making people open up in conversations. Reading these extracts translated into Spanish, filmmaker Anna de Guia-Eriksson introduces a dialogue between language, forms of registry and the physical manifestations of history, which her own person as a Filipino is included.
