Fourteen years after Third Impact, Shinji Ikari awakens to a world he does not remember. He hasn't aged. Much of Earth is laid in ruins, NERV has been dismantled, and people who he once protected have turned against him. Befriending the enigmatic Kaworu Nagisa, Shinji continues the fight against the angels and realizes the fighting is far from over, even when it could be against his former allies. The characters' struggles continue amidst the battles against the angels and each other, spiraling down to what could inevitably be the end of the world.

Wild Life was Japanese-American singer-songwriter Utada Hikaru's final concert tour before her scheduled hiatus from 2011. Utada performed only two dates at the Yokohama Arena, Japan on December 8 and 9 2010.
In August 2010, popular singer-songwriter Utada Hikaru announced that she would take an indefinite break from music starting in 2011. In addition to releasing her second compilation album, she also gave two "temporary farewell" concerts - titled Wild Life - in Yokohama Arena on December 8-9, 2010. In addition to simultaneous broadcast in Japanese cinemas, the December 8 concert was also streamed live on the Internet, breaking the video site's global record for simultaneous accesses.

This live-action sci-fi movie based on a 1973 Japanese animé of the same name.
