Grandmother Verónica and her husband Pastor, without money, live in the rural area of the municipality of Güepsa, Santander. Her tragedies are minimal, but traversed by the history of violence in Colombia, while around her, her neighbors struggle to stay alive in the daily routine of the countryside.
Leonidas used to have a restaurant with his wife before she left him a long time ago. While playing pool -his only hobby-, a police officer asks him to receive and serve a meal to an outsider. Several deaths in neighboring towns will very soon alert Leonidas about the visitor.

Without wishing it, she wins a Polaroid camera in a raffle, so, she proposes her husband to take pictures of their lives in the country. But the camera roll ends up and the hunger persists!
