Based on a shamanic song “Gujiga”, myths, symbols and glimpses into the natural phenomena of turtles are interwoven throughout this film, revealing violent human interventions into the life of this reptile. This film is an ode to the turtle and a reminder of the connection between animals and humans.

When his two mature children Anton and Linda start leaving the house, after graduation, father Michael stops taking care of his body. Anton sacrifices his body for a bed-rest-study to contribute to spacetraveling, while Linda is in search of her first sexual experience.

In order to escape an ethnic massacre, four children are leaving their hometown. Each individual is leaving in different ways: with the last train, the last ship, the last plane… walking over the snow-covered mountains.

Five brothers first opened the bar "Onis" in 1976 after migrating to Madrid in the early 1970's from a village in the North of Spain. The possibility of making money brought them into the hospitality business in the big city. Since the opening of the "Onis" forty years ago, they have worked together almost every single day.

Kilian (24) and Thomas (26) are successful poker players and part of a clique of German players who have met over the years during various poker events. Alternating between live and online poker they are in limbo between the daily ups and downs of the game, between winning and losing.
