A career criminal, Ah Sang, engineers a bank robbery to be carried out by a gang of recruited hoodlums led by himself. It takes only three minutes to complete the robbery of seven million dollars. A special police unit is then formed to investigate the case, and the chief inspector suspects Sang, and begins keeping him under surveillance. In order to stay undetected, each member is specifically ordered to not spend their share of the one million HKD from the heist for six months.

A monk is expelled from a monastery because he was found with a dirty magazine under his pillow. He falls in with a gang of villains, who hire him because of his martial arts skills. He later returns to the monastery where (for reasons unexplained), he fights his former buddy-monk.

Jiao is framed for rape and murder (and, later, two more murders) by Chen and his son - the same people who framed Jiao's father and left him orphaned. Into the mix comes THE LADY OF THE LAW, Miss Leng, whose job it is to find the guilty. Having abducted Muk's mother, Chan presses Muk and her cousin Sau-chen to surrender the genuine article, but Ko unmasks Chan, the spy, by baiting him with the weapon. The police squad led by Fong and Commissioner Suen swarm onto the scene, arresting Chan while he is attempting to flee holding Muk's mother hostage. Chan dies amidst a shower of bullets fired by his own daughter Sau-chen.
