Bamboula

History

The African actor Bambula (real name Wilhelm Murphy-Bamboula) took part as an actor in few movies of 1919. He impersonated King Makombe in "Die Herrin der Welt - 4. Teil" directed by Joseph Klein and Uwe Jens Krafft at the side of Mia May, Michael Bohnen, Henry Sze, Louis Brody, Hedwig Bleibtreu, Bruno Decarli, Ernst Hofmann, Victor Janson, Hans Mierendorff and Paul Morgan. In Johannes Guter's "Ewiger Strom" he played a black millionaire. To his co-stars belonged Vladimir Agayev, Werner Krauss, Marija Leiko, Heinrich Peer and F. W. Schröder-Schrom. It followed "Fräulein Zahnarzt" with Wilhelm Diegelmann, Charles Willy Kayser, Mia May, Hermann Picha and Otto Reinwald.

King Makombe
Through the plan hidden in Astarte's jewelry, Maud Gregaards, Kien-Lung and Consul Madsen get on the trail of the Queen of Sheba's treasure. Their search takes them to Africa, where they want to know from King Makombe the location of the Fire Mountain, near which the legendary city of Ophir, the center of the Astarte cult, is said to be.
