Mistress Killer is about the mistress in modern society. Recently a Kung Fu warrior who focuses on catching mistresses appears in the city. Rumors about her spread quickly. Losing her mother at a tender age, Yim Wing Chun (Bai Jing) grew up under the wing of Master Ng Mui (Kara Hui), a fugitive in the end of the Qing dynasty. Inspired by Ng Mui's Shaolin kung fu, the boyish Wing Chun develops a kind of martial arts that would one day be named after her, while she strikes up a romance with righteous businessman Liang Baochou (Yu Shaoqun). When the minions of the Qing government draw near, Wing Chun must break out of their ambush to join Ng Mui in the showdown with Kam Ying (Collin Chou), the evil master who helps the Qing empire hunt down its enemies with his formidable Eagle Claws kung fu!

An involving, beautifully modulated yarn about a young intellectual's "war" with two equines in a mountain village during the Cultural Revolution. A young student, Ma Jie, who is sent to a tiny Beigao village in Shanxi Province and has the mundane task of watching over livestock during the Great Cultural Revolution. Surrounded only by the extreme boredom, he initiates a war against two donkeys. What ensues as a result, is an impressive feature debut by director Li Dawei who manages to infuse a believable quirky and black humorous universe within a realistically grim setting.

The aging Zhao embarks on his final and greatest campaign, a road to adventure that will crown his name in glory for all time.
