Daniel Balaji
History
Daniel Balaji is an Indian actor, who has predominantly appears in Tamil films.
His first role was in the television serial Chitthi, where he played a character named Daniel. After the success of the show, in his second serial Alaigal, director Sunder K Vijayan, named him as Daniel Balaji thinking that he portrayed his own character in Chithi.
His first film in Tamil was April Maadhathil, followed by a role in Kaadhal Kondein. His first major role was in Kaakha Kaakha as a police officer alongside Suriya who played the leading role. The film, directed by Gautham Menon was about a squad of policemen fighting organised crime in Chennai. Balaji followed this up with another major role in Menon's next film, that of the antagonist Amudhan in the blockbuster Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. The film starred Kamal Hassan and was a police procedural focusing on a series of murders. Balaji's portrayal of both these roles received praise.

The story unfolds the events happening in just four hours of a day in two cities - Kochi and Chennai. Shiva
The story line of the film is the escapades of a cricket crazy kid, all of eight years and his father, a cop. Antony Simon (Mammootty) is a crime branch CI , but prefers to spend his time fooling around with his son Aadi (Dhananjay). And being a Crime Branch police officer, his rather laid-back attitude is not appreciated by his peers and superiors. Richa Pallod portrays his wife who finds this irritating. The father-son duo becomes friends with the famous national cricketer Sreekanth (Govind Padmasurya) when they save him from some street fight. Once while the father-son duo was out for shopping, Adhi saw a man with the gun and screams at his father. Simon turns back and shoots him but he kills the wrong person. Simon now faces murder charges and is suspended from duty.
Muthirai movie revolves around a tech-savvy criminal and his friend who is a smart-con guy. They (Nithin Sathya and Daniel Balaji) together plan and execute frauds of various kinds, including cyber-crimes. The film sometimes becomes hilarious too. A political assassination plan is also unfolding parallel to the story line, which is some way related to these youths. The movie involves perfect blend of action, romance and humour.

Months were over after the dreaded 2008 Mumbai attacks. A terrorist group led by Saifudeen (Daniel Balaji) planned bomb blasts in five places in Kochi. At the same time, Sakriya Thomas, the Home Minister of Kerala arrived at the hospital for his wife's delivery. Meanwhile, the terrorist group was planning to kidnap the Home Minister and his newborn baby. Saifudeen kidnapped three newborn babies and Dr. Balagopal (Mohanlal) came looking for them. Meanwhile, the Home Minister is kidnapped by Saifudeen's men. In the end, Balagopal kills Saifudeen and saves Home Minister and the babies. All the terrorists were captured or killed by the police.
