Salvador Sunyer (Son) has been the creator of the spots for Temporada Alta Festival for the past ten years. Coinciding with the thirtieth anniversary of the festival, Salvador’s first daughter is born, and he feels like he no longer has the strength to continue to be the same person he thought he was.

Vienna, 2019 – the end of an era. The smoking ban in public places means that a part of Kaffeehaus culture has disappeared. Of all moments, this is the one that Angeliki chooses to buy an apartment with help from her interior designer friend, Carmen. Angeliki seems to have something against all of them: either the parquet floors creak, the tiles are the wrong colour or she is bothered by the proximity to a restaurant. How will she ever find a new home in this environment? Carmen feels like she’s talking to a brick wall. Moreover, she simply cannot understand why Angeliki is refusing to part with her money. A Journey from Vienna to Malaga, via salt flats overcast by mysterious shadows. A homage to the Austrian capital and the bygone splendour in ordinary things.

Pedro, a foreign worker in Switzerland, learns that his mother is in hospital in Spain. Isolated from the world on his employer’s farm, he is asked to take one of the cows to slaughter before leaving for his country. Waiting for news from Spain, he arrives late at the slaughterhouse. At this same time, his brother calls to tell him that his mother has died. His world collapses and, still with the cow, he begins a wandering in which he will manage to accept his loss.

A community of women lives in an old convent that falls apart. They never talk and strive to keep everything clean. One day, Irene realizes for the first time that there is much more beyond the routine she and her sisters keep doing over and over. Irene, following nature’s signs, starts a journey of reconnection with her own impulses and body to finally find her own voice.

The Pyrenees, 1883. Silo and his brother Bruno are escaping from a crowd of villagers when they begin a trip through the mountains.
