History

Connor Doherty completed his honours degree of Film in 2019 at Deakin University. His graduate film, 'Recrudescence' epitomises his filmmaking spirit in its ambition and strangeness. It earned him the award of 'Best Director' for his year. As a writer, director, and editor, Doherty is meticulous in realising his visions throughout the filmmaking process, achieving uniqueness at every stage. In creating films, Doherty strives to evoke mystery and explore sociopolitical ideas. He places great importance on the responsibility of films and their affect on reality.
