Pedro, a foreign worker in Switzerland, learns that his mother is in hospital in Spain. Isolated from the world on his employer’s farm, he is asked to take one of the cows to slaughter before leaving for his country. Waiting for news from Spain, he arrives late at the slaughterhouse. At this same time, his brother calls to tell him that his mother has died. His world collapses and, still with the cow, he begins a wandering in which he will manage to accept his loss.

Aída, goes to Milan’s house to help him with his noisy neighbors. Aída and Milan haven’t spoken to each other for a long time. After an argument she drives Milan to the bus station. But this simple trip will become a long one and she will discover other Milan that she didn’t know.
