Hush
Director of Photography
When Nadine hears about her best friend’s fear of an unwanted pregnancy, she takes the lead of the rescue. Together they embark on a frustrating, confidential and sometimes funny journey of getting pregnancy tested, while their conservative reality turns the simple act into an actual threat. Through Nur’s conflict, and within the reflection of her dad, Nadine finds herself searching for her own truth, independence and freedom.
Foragers
Director of Photography
Foragers interweaves documentary and fiction to report on a searing conflict between the Israel Nature and Parks Authority and Palestinian foragers. Through an elaborate and elegant composition, the film successfully captures the inherited love, resilience and knowledge of these traditions, over an eminently political backdrop.
The Present

On his wedding anniversary, Yusef and his young daughter set out in the West Bank to buy his wife a gift. Between soldiers, segregated roads and checkpoints, how easy would it be to go shopping?
Hamza - Chasing the Ghost Chasing Me
Director of Photography
After his recovery, middle-aged Hamza has continued a practice he began 20 years ago when he was freed from an Israeli prison: he goes into the woods every day to chase the lion that the locals don’t think exists. Hamza struggles to reach a peaceful place. Despite his wife’s pleadings and the villagers’ contempt, Hamza sits his baits and traps in the forest, hoping to defeat the mysterious threat. He finds refuge in his journey from social rejection and denial. In the woods, Hamza is free to act according to his beliefs, fighting his own battle to heal an open wound – the trauma of losing his childhood friend, and the horrific memories of torture and guilt.
