Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay was an Indian film actress known for her works in Bengali films. In a career spanning three and a half decades, she had acted in around 300 films. Known for her outstanding performance in negative roles, she is considered to be the most sought-after vamp in the Kolkata film industry.
