Robin Williams

History

Robin Williams is an American singer-songwriter of folk music from Virginia. As a duo with his wife Linda Williams, he appeared on Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion radio show from 1975. They were members of the Hopeful Gospel Quartet with Keillor and Kate MacKenzie. After touring with Mary Chapin Carpenter in 1993, the pair later sang on her Grammy Award-winning album Stones in the Road. In 2004, they switched labels, recording Deeper Waters as their first release on Red House Records.
