Edgar Sarmiento

History

Edgar Sarmiento was head of the Resettlement and Real Estate department of the mining company Cerrejón. For the last 25 years, he has lived with his family in the "coal land" town built by the company (owned at the time by Exxon Mobil) for its employees on the site of the coal mine at the end of the 1980s. He retired in March 2015.
