In a faraway future, two Explorers search an abandoned Mexico City looking for valuable objects lost to memory amongst the ruins, while the remaining child population is trapped in a suspended state, drained of energy and unable to wake up. The shapeless monster Despair hides in the shadows, waiting to pounce on them and steal whatever they find.

Two outisde observers -the first through a tall window, the second through the lens of a camera- are the only ones to notice a group of protesters blocking the path of the main vehicle to call attention to an unjust tragedy.
