Colin McKeown

History

Colin McKeown began making short films with the compilation 'Short Stories' which premiered at the Cork Film Festival in 1986. He has been involved in producing four feature films and over 30 short films. He was instrumental in developing the work of new filmmakers and training new entrants in Northern Ireland from the inception of the Six Pack scheme in 1995 and his work with Northern Ireland Screen throughout the following 13 years. His film work has garnered international recognition and awards including two BAFTA nominations, selection for Cannes Critic's Week and a BAFTA award in 2001. In 2009 he was the video producer of Ireland's entry to the Venice Biennale. He has significant experience in script development including work as script editor on the BAFTA nominated Northern Irish film Good Vibrations and Ordinary Love.

Charlie Daines is a morphine-addicted detective on the trail of a psychopath who is setting up murders and broadcasting them live on the internet. As he closes in on the killer, Charlie realises that he is to be the final victim.
