A documentary about 6 young filmmakers and their team as they embarked on a journey to create their own feature film, Follow the Dead, a story about Millennials in Ireland encountering an undead phenomenon. As they discover their processes creating the film we begin to discover that what they may have been more enamoured with something else they had created.... a family.
A young couple, on the verge of bringing their first child into the world, are at a loss to find the joy of it when terrifying news from the doctor, as well as unspoken secrets, begin to tear the relationship apart. Meanwhile, an older couple, having received an even graver medical prognosis, look back on their lives and wonder if there's still time to tie up loose ends. When the couples' paths entwine, nothing will ever be the same again.

What happens when the undead return to life? In a world ravaged for years by a virus that turns the infected into zombie-like cannibals, a cure is at last found and the wrenching process of reintegrating the survivors back into society begins.
When five prisoners are locked in a room, and are unable to communicate as none of them speak the same language, the situation is intensified when the haunting stone altar in the centre of the room demands a sacrifice. However, once one is selected and disposed of, this occupant is replaced, and in time a new choice of sacrifice must be made. In a dog-eat-dog environment, where might equals right and disunity abounds, can any of the room's occupants find a way to salvation?
