Lynn Downey known for her work in The Rookie, S.W.A.T., Deputy & Henry Danger, with upcoming roles in American Crime Story on FOX and Daisy Jones & the Six for Amazon. She was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana and graduated magna cum laude from Ball State University with degree in Theatre (The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Best Supporting Actress,; Love Child, Outstanding Actress). She co-created (alongside Melissa Blue) and starred in the award winning web series, Life Group, Winner of 2018 IndieBOOM Film Festival Best Comedy Series. She adapted Shauna Niequist's best selling memoir into the award winning "Cold Tangerines: The Play" (Encore Producers's Award LA Fringe 2016). She appeared in the starring role for an extended run of the world premier at The Fremont Centre Theatre in 2014, the LA Fringe Fest in 2016, and toured Southern California. She is also the pioneer woman in Geico's "Words Can Hurt" commercial. She is married to actor/comedian Dan Braswell.

The Sisters is an adaptation of the first short story in James Joyce's collected works, Dubliners. Set in 1915 Ireland, it tells the story of a young boy, who reflects upon his time with friend and mentor, Father Flynn, while coming to terms with the Priest's death. As he listens to the conversations of the adults around him and thinks back on his own time with the Father, the boy begins to come to a new understanding about his friend and possibly about himself, as he is confronted with questions of faith, loss and new beginnings.
