Hong Xuefei was an actress of Kunqu Opera and Peking Opera. She grew up in Hangzhou since childhood. In 1958, she entered the Northern Kunqu Opera Theatre. In 1966, he joined Beijing Peking Opera Troupe and changed to sing Peking Opera. She is famous for her performance in the Peking Opera "Shajiabang". After 1979, she served as an actor in the Northern Kunqu Opera Theater. Joined the Communist Party of China in 1984. She was a representative of the Fourth National People's Congress. Representative repertoires include Kunqu Opera "The Peony Pavilion", "Send a Thousand Miles to the Beijing Mother", "Eternal Life Palace", modern drama "Jiang Sister", "Hong Xia" and so on. In 1985, she won the Second Plum Blossom Award for Chinese Drama.
