She should not be confused with two similarly-named porn stars from the 80s: the blonde Ashley Welles who had a prolific career in the 1970s and 80s, or the auburn-haired Ashley Welles, who had a brief 3-movie career in the early 80s, most notably in Debbie Does Dallas 2.
