Karim Nada

Karim Nada is an Egyptian filmmaker with a passion for cinema that dates back to his childhood. Growing up in a family of doctors in Alexandria, Karim found himself pressured to pursue a career in medicine, but his love for filmmaking was too strong to ignore. Despite the expectations placed on him, Karim took it upon himself to educate himself in the field, gathering information from different film schools and creating a personal syllabus. Karim's determination and drive eventually led him to join the Jesuit Film School in Alexandria in 2021, where he received a formal education in the art and craft of filmmaking. Karim is a multi-talented filmmaker, serving as a director, writer, producer, and editor on a variety of projects. His films have been selected for multiple festivals and have won numerous awards. Karim approaches the creative process with a focus on challenging the audience and asking questions that make them question themselves. He recognizes the importance of both the artistic and technical aspects of filmmaking, and believes in the role of technology in the art form as a tool to push boundaries and create thought-provoking work.
