Rory Fielding

History

Rory Fielding, Executive Producer of Rory Fielding Films is an award-winning broadcast professional and investigative reporter with over 30 years of experience in television production and distribution. Fielding directed ‘1955, Seven Days of Fall’ which was broadcast nationwide on ESPN and PBS. ‘1955’ earned three major awards including the Aurora Platinum Best of Show, New York Independent Film Festival Award for Best Sports Documentary and the Accolade Award for Excellence. Fielding began his broadcast career as an NBC affiliate news reporter and was twice honored by the Associated Press for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism. Rory is a graduate of New York University where he served as an Associate Professor of Film & Television. Rory Fielding Films recently produced and directed the national PBS Documentary Troubled Waters featuring actor and ocean activist Ted Danson, narrated by Peter Copyote, which focuses on the human impact facing our oceans and its sea creatures.
