History

Evan J Shafran is a filmmaker based in Orlando, Florida who has spent his formative years focusing on experimental music creation, and a variety of theatrical stage performances. He attended Full Sail University in the late 1900’s and has been involved in many aspects of the film making process. Directing, acting, editing, camera work, film scoring and sound design. For the past decade Evan has produced a plethora of music videos and short films such as “Young Again” which received the honorable mention award in The Cannabus Culture Film Fest, Miami. He is also a member of the film collective “Video Mass” based out of Brooklyn NY. Evan is currently (2022) wrapping up his first feature film “Nothing True Over The Moon”. Filmed in over a dozen locations across 5 different states, across the South East USA, which took over a year to complete. Evan plans to pursue an episodical continuation of the feature film “Nothing True Over The Moon” possibly traveling Internationally and expanding his team of collaborators.
