An unemployed man trying to steal from a convenience store, and the store clerk catches him in the act. the thief runs away with the store-clerk right after him. All the while, the store clerk is in trouble with a low-rank yakuza. Along the chase for the thief, they catch the eye of the Yakuza who's been looking for the convenience store clerk.

In the year 2046, overpopulation and exhaustion of resources has forced humanity to travel into space. A colony is established on Mars. This film is about what happens when one cargo ship traveling between Mars and Earth collides with an asteroid.
Landlord
Based on the life of Hyakken Uchida, a Japanese author and academic. The film opens with Uchida resigning his job as a German professor at the onset of WWII. The story is told mostly in vignettes as he is cared for by former students in his old age.
