Marie-Eve Boisvert

History

After pursuing studies in communication and social sciences throughout Québec, the young movie maker Marie-Eve Boisvert decide to stop her journey in 2019, to follow a college training in documentary cinema, in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region. Inhabited by many projects, she explores the fields of sound editing and audiovisual, then realizes in 2022 her first documentary film, called Tide’s trajectories. Ankered somewhere between belonging to one’s territory and the desire to escape, this dreamlike shortfilm aims at making our intimacies a collective matter ; at bringing to our suffering, some meaning.
