History
Harry Larter (born February 20th, 2002), is an English Screenwriter and Director. Most notably, the short films 'Reminder' (2024), 'Flames' (2023) and 'Hanging by a Moment' (2022) which are all directed and written by Larter. He currently attends the University of Portsmouth, studying Film Production and is due to graduate in the summer of 2024. He is the writer for 'Eventide' - a BAFP short film directed by Louis Westover, which is currently filming and he is working on set as the Script Supervisor. He has also worked as the First Assistant Director on the Christmas themed film 'Tinsel' (2023) directed by Davey Fox Ezra, and the short comedy film 'Daylight' (2023) directed by Alfie Sadler.
Larter has been an avid lover of film and television all of his life, and has always loved writing; having written shorts, features and stories since he was a child, as well as an unreleased novel in 2017, which he later adapted into his first proper short film, titled 'Time Virus' in 2021. His writing style tends to be grounded, focussing on hard hitting, gritty and emotional themes, however he has written other genres such as action, comedy and superhero. He also has a short background in acting, having studied drama in school and acted in several projects.
