History

Formé à l'école des Amandiers de Nanterre (promotion 1984), il a été pensionnaire de la Comédie Française entre 1985 et 1988. Au théâtre, il a travaillé sous la direction de Jacques Osinski (Le Songe de August Strindberg, Léonce et Léna de Büchner), Gloria Paris (Les Amoureux de Goldoni), Vincent Goethals (Bureau national des Allogènes de Stanislas Cotton), Laurence Emer (Noces de sable de Didier Van Cauwelaert), StuartSeide (Antoine et Cléopâtre de Shakespeare), Patrice Chéreau (La Fausse suivante de Marivaux), Jean-Pierre Vincent (Macbeth de Shakespeare), Jean-Luc Boutte (Le Bourgeois gentilhomme de Molière), Luca Ronconi (Le Marchand de Venise de Shakespeare), Jean-Luc Moreau (Dom Juan de Molière, Impair et père de Ray Cooney), Anita Picchiarini (Le bouc Fassinder, Baal de Brecht), Jean-Paul Roussillon (Demain une fenêtre sur rue de Jean-Claude Grumberg), Sylvain Maurice (Le Précepteur de Lenz), Josanne Rousseau (La Thébaïde de Racine, La Nuit et le moment de Crébillon),Stephan Meldegg (Les Lunettes d'Elton John). A provocative, seemingly absurd patchwork movie which sends a worthwhile message about hope against all odds, love, children and human understanding. Schoolgirl Victorine has an insane mother and an alcoholic father who can never find his way home in their maze of slum apartment blocks. Aggressive, sexually threatening boys of all ages are everywhere, and while the teacher eventually relents to a gang of adolescent rapists, Victorine gives herself to a rowdy gang of older layabouts, eventually winning the heart of burglar Paul.
