Godzilla the Ride: Giant Monsters Ultimate Battle (ゴジラ・ザ・ライド 大怪獣頂上決戦 Gojira za Raido Daikaijū Chōjō Kessen), or simply Godzilla the Ride (ゴジラ・ザ・ライド Gojira za Raido), is a flying theater motion simulator ride located in the Seibuen amusement park in Tokorozawa, Saitama, Japan. Up to 70 guests are placed at the center of a battle between Godzilla and King Ghidorah.[1] It opened on May 19, 2021, in conjunction with the park's grand reopening.[2] The five-minute[1] ride film is directed by Takashi Yamazaki, who previously directed Godzilla in the 2007 film Always: Sunset on Third Street 2, in partnership with Shoichiro Tsuno of Katana Marketing and Entertainment Co., Ltd.

In Meiji-era Japan, a village of witches and wizards is slaughtered. Years later, an archaeologist discovers a mummy from the village, which reanimates, murders, then possesses his assistant. This evil spirit is now searching for Misa, who is protected by a survivor of the original massacre, known only as Saiga.

Misa Kuroi is an adorable high-school girl who arrives at her new school when it is falling under an evil supernatural force. Trying to figure out who's behind the supernatural attack, Misa also has to deal with assumptions by her fellow classmates that believe she is the one behind it all. Misa and twelve other students are kept late after school hours one day to retake an exam. Then, after sunset, the entire school is deserted, and the students find themselves trapped inside and their teacher no where to be found. One by one, the thirteen students are picked up and disposed of in horrific and graphic fashion. It is up to Misa to try and gain the trust of her fellow students so that she can protect them and stop the evil before it's too late.

When the Spirit World is flooded due to an unusual rainfall which overflows the River Sanzu (aka the River Styx), Lord Koenma senses an extremely powerful enemy. He entrusts Death God Botan, to deliver to Spirit Detective Yusuke, a mysterious item which must be protected from the invading enemy. However, by the time Botan finds Yusuke, she's too weak to explain the situation. Yusuke and his friends are left in the dark about the new enemy, but not for long. Soon it is a battle for Earth between mere Spirit Detectives and the almighty king of the Netherworld.
