An old man accommodates Govind and the man begin to call him by that name. Govind falls in love with Kasturi (Raasi) a blind flower seller. Kasturi's father (Costume Krishna) renounced to drink alcohol and he decided to go to work after Govind's preach, but he died the next day in a car accident. Being Kasturi's last relation, he admitted her into a hospital for an eye operation. In order to pay it, he takes come money from a drunk man's house. In a misunderstanding, he was arrested by the police and he was sent to jail.

Gopala Krishna
The film begins with a dispute between two people, Parasuramaiah (Mukka Narasimha Rao) & Bullabbai (Charan Raj) who are brothers-in-law and important people in the village. Gopala Krishna (Jagapati Babu) runs a boat on the river (Godavari) adjoining the village, is liked by each and every person in the village, including Parasuramaiah & Bullabbai and he, tries to make both the families get together. Satyavathi (Soundarya), daughter of Parasuramaiah loves Gopala Krishna, but he treats her as a friend. Meanwhile, Bullabbai brings a beautiful girl Radha (Meena) from the city. They live next door (by partitioning their ancestral home). Shivaji (Jagapati Babu) cousin (son of maternal uncle) of Krishna Murthy comes to the village.Krishna Murthy gives shelter in his house. Shivaji falls in love with Pooja. Balaramaiah comes to know about this and makes arrangements for Pooja's marriage with Antharvedi (Tanikella Bharani), son of Chintamani (Gollapudi Maruthi Rao) who instigates clashes between Balaramaiah & Krishna Murthy. At the end Balaramaiah realizes his mistake with the advice of Vasumati, accepts Krishna Murthy as his brother. A happy ending with united family ensues.
