Short film based on nouvella by Arnold Zweig, a young girl is run over bij a dog called Kong whilst playing on the beach. She demands her father to buy the dog in order to have him shot.

1936. Rafael, son of a Spanish nobleman, leaves the French Catholic institution where he was resident, recalled in his country by his father. The American architect Kracklite arrives in Italy, supervising an exhibiton for a French architect, Boullée, famous for his oval structures. Tirelessly dedicated to the project, Kracklite's marriage quickly dissolves along with his health.
