With his film having failed and producer having run away, Man-soo needs to pay back all the film’s debts. While Man-soo also makes plans to run away, he receives a call from the money lender. Instead of paying back the money, the money lender proposes that Man-soo, as a favor to the money lender, make a movie for his old father. Old BAE is from North Korea, and has longed to visit his hometown before he dies. With no other alternative available, Man-soo accepts the threatening proposal to shoot the film. From the very beginning of shooting, things get more complicated, and soon they find themselves in a big mess.

Hae-Gon, Joon-Hyung and Hak-Rak are everyday guys, working at a local taxi company. Men of marked individuality, many wonder how they keep company with each other. After a bulky day of work, one and only diversion they can share is drinking in a local bar with silly jokes. Discontented with their miserable life, they finally decide to do something big, which they believe this is very and last opportunity to take an abrupt turn of their life. However, their plan makes a wrong turn, just like their pathetic life.

This is about two young men who want to find the meaning of their lives. Do-chul is a boxer who never wins a game. While trying to make some money, he gets involved with Hong-gi, a small-time crook. They somehow make friends and hang around together, but their views toward life and the world are almost opposite. Do-chul despises Hong-gi's blind materialism. Hong-gi mocks Do-chul's obsession with good-for-nothing boxing career.

This movie follows the story of three friends in Korea, all three of whom drop out of school. The main character is Min, a tough guy whose widowed mother is a drunk. The story traces his journey from high school to the underworld as one of his friends introduces him to life in the mob. Complicating Min's life further is his romance with Romi, a girl from an upper-class family with dreams of going to a prestigious college.
