Three sisters try to find a tenant to rent their garden apartment. They later meet George Barrow who's plotting to turn their apartment into a hedgefunder Disneyland of 50-foot-wide townhouses with spas, movie theaters and in-ground pools.

In the long days of summer in a beach town on the New Jersey shore, high schooler Alan and his friends Red and Smitty break into vacation homes to steal valuables, funding dates at the boardwalk and lunches at the burger stand. Viva la Causa tells the story of a small group of abused California farm workers who, led by Cesar Chavez, put themselves on the line after launching a strike and a national boycott against the multimillion-dollar California grape industry.

While driving through the New Mexico Desert during a rainy night, the college students Jim Halsey and his girlfriend Grace Andrews give a ride to the hitchhiker John Ryder. While in their car, the stranger proves to be a psychopath threatening the young couple with a knife, but Jim succeeds to throw him out of the car on the road. On the next morning, the young couple sees John in another car.
