Luis Mario Quiroz Acosta is a Mexican film, television and theater actor. Son of Enrique Quiroz Acosta and Teresa Acosta de Quiroz and brother of actor, broadcaster and producer Gerardo Quiroz , he began his acting career at an early age. In 1988, he received the Ariel Award for his performance as Carlos in the film Mariana, Mariana , by Alberto Isaac. As a child he was good at soccer , he played for Pumitas , where he was a winger from the age of eight until he was 16. His grandfather Francisco Quiroz Acosta played for Atlas and his brother Alfonso for Pumas. He is also remembered for his role as Cesarín in the television series Papá single , where he shared credits with the singer César Costa , the actress and singer Edith Márquez , and his brother Gerardo Quiroz.
