History

At the age of 16, Christiane Tricerri premiered "Equus", by Peter Shaffer, at the Ruth Escobar Theater, still in school, but since then she has never stopped dedicating herself to theater. In 1981, she makes her professional debut in "Mal Secreto", directed by Roberto Lage and, in 1982, she debuts in "Bella Ciao", a show that won all the critics' awards, including the APCA for best performance for the actress. In 1985, she joined the Teatro do Ornitorrinco and participated for ten years in a row in productions such as: "Ubu, O Doente Imaginário", "A Velha Dama Indigna", "Sonho de uma Noite de Verão" and "A Comédia dos Erros", all under the direction of Cacá Rosset. Shows — all of them — of great success in Brazil and abroad with careers of at least two years. It was with A Midsummer Night's Dream that the actress became known in Brazil and in the US for her nude scene in Central Park. With "A Comédia dos Erros" she was nominated for the 1994 Shell Award for Best Actress. Also in 1994 she worked with José Celso Martinez Corrêa starring in "Mistérios Gozozos". As director, she made Medea with Maria Alice Vergueiro. In 2001 she made one of King Lear's daughters, Regana, with Raul Cortez. In 2002 she made "Patty Diphusa", by Pedro Almodóvar and in 2004 she premiered "Pagu Que.", both with her own direction. In television, she participated in the miniseries "Anarquistas Graças a Deus", Walter Avancini, from TV Globo, and "A Casa das Sete Mulheres", Jayme Mojardim. In cinema, she debuted her first feature film as a protagonist, "Olhos de Vampa", by Walter Rogério, and the short film "Cobrindo o Céu de Sombra", which plays Maria Rosa, leader of the sertanejos in the Contestado War. In cinema, she also participated in the feature "País dos Tenentes", by João Baptista de Andrade, "Erra Uma Vez", by Leopoldo Nunes, and "Amor que Fica", by Alon Fresnot, and "Nanoidições", by Francisco Garcia and José Wagner Garcia. In 2006, she returned with Teatro do Ornitorrinco, with the production of Georges Feydeau, "O Marido vai à Caça". In 2007, she filmed the short film "A Cauda do Dinossauro", with a screenplay by her and Angeli, under the direction of Francisco Garcia. In 2008, she plays Catarina, in "A Megera Domada", alongside Cacá Rosset and a great cast, at the Sérgio Cardoso Theater, in São Paulo. In 2010 she directed "As Pagus". She participated in the series "9 mm São Paulo" on Fox. In 2012, she directed "A Saga da Bruxa Morgana e a Família Real", with Rosi Campos and a large cast. In 2013, she played Vega in the telenovela "Amor à vida", by Walcyr Carrasco, on Globo. In 2014, she made a cultural circuit with "A mais forte", by August Strindberg. In 2015 and 2016 she did the solo "A Merda-La Merda", by Cristian Ceresoli. In 2017 and 2018, she made a cultural circuit with "Vestida de Shakespeare", her text with characters she played from Shakespeare. In 2018, she debuted in "Nem Princesas Nem Escravas", by Humberto Robles, translated and directed by Cacá Rosset. In 2019, she debuts "Frida Kahlo-Viva la Vida", by Humberto Robles, translated and directed by Cacá Rosset.
