Hedvig is successfully performing a lot of sorceries, several of them with a strong erotic meaning Thus she sneaks naked to the priest's bed during night. Leaning over him she kisses his body. Sven is moving uneasily in his sleep but does not wake up. Carefully she sits astride him. There is a night of lust. Anna fins herself soon entangled in a net of wickedness.

In the midst of a civil war, former violinists Jan and Eva Rosenberg, who have a tempestuous marriage, run a farm on a rural island. In spite of their best efforts to escape their homeland, the war impinges on every aspect of their lives.

In order to get his job back, Norell, goes on a hunt to find it in order to get his job back. Meanwhile, the art dealer has sent his daughter Ulla after him to retrieve the statue. Inga works at an office and Kurre at a small factory. Inga has a liability to be late in the mornings and this gets her into some trouble at the office, because of her very strict boss. This, along with the fact that another girl starts to court Kurre puts their relationship to the test, a crisis which is easier said than done to solve.
