Naane Varuven (lit. 'I will come') is a 1992 Tamil language film, directed by Sripriya and produced by Girija. The film script was written by Sripriya. Music was by Shankar–Ganesh. The film stars Rahman and Sripriya playing lead, with Rajani, Vagai Chandrasekhar, Vadivukkarasi, Gouthami and Radhika in supporting roles. It is a sequel to the 1979 film Neeya?

However, after many hurdles, the two marry. The director of Seetha's stage troupe Gopal (R. Muthuraman) too is in love with her. But, she never responds. When Kannabiran is murdered. Gopal is arrested. He has an alibi - on the night of the murder, a young woman stayed with him in his house, but then he does not disclose her identity. The woman turns out to be Seetha and she gives them the evidence. One of the members of the jury is her father-in-law and complications follow with the husband leaving her and wishing to marry again. However, the truth comes out and the family is united in the end.

Thanigachalam manages to save Meena from committing suicide. Meena reminds him of his late daughter Uma. Later, Meena tries her best to console Saker who is mourning Uma's death.

A king Parthiban (Ramadas) gifts a rare anklet (salangai) to a dancer Aparajita (Kumari Madhuri). She begets the king's son, Amarendran and hands him over to a priest along with the anklet. Amarendran also happens to meet a beautiful singer Shantha (Savithri), who falls in love with her and this plot forms the rest of the story.
