Lakshmipathy falls in love with his sister's daughter, Dhanalakshmi. But when an astrologer predicts that Lakshmipathy will die when he marries Dhanalakshmi, his sister cancels the wedding.

Raja (Bhagyaraj) is the son of the watchman at an Ooty bungalow.
