Daniel Auteuil (born 24 January 1950) is a French actor. His starring role in Jean de Florette brought him international recognition, and he has since become one of the best-known, best-paid and most popular actors in France. Through films such as Caché, Mon meilleur ami, Le bossu and Après vous..., he has since gained greater international recognition.
