Over the past few years, Israel's ongoing military occupation of Palestinian territory and repeated invasions of the Gaza strip have triggered a fierce backlash against Israeli policies virtually everywhere in the world—except the United States. The Occupation of the American Mind takes an eye-opening look at this critical exception, zeroing in on pro-Israel public relations efforts within the U.S. Narrated by Roger Waters and featuring leading observers of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and U.S. media culture, the film explores how the Israeli government, the U.S. government, and the pro-Israel lobby have joined forces, often with very different motives, to shape American media coverage of the conflict in Israel's favor, and provides a sweeping analysis of Israel's decades-long battle for the hearts, minds, and tax dollars of the American people in the face of widening international condemnation of its increasingly right-wing policies.

It was August 1980, at Earls Court, when cameras recorded the frenetic operation of the entire load-in process. One editor, working alone for six months, was able to create this ‘behind-the-scenes’ documentary. The film successfully shows the magnitude of people and material necessary to mount this incredible production. The staging of this concert has been referred to as, “…possibly twice the size of any other show done in rock & roll thus far.” (meaning 1980) Perhaps more significant. this performance would be the last for the band with all the original members who recorded the album. In the melee of the breakup. this documentary was archived and forgotten for nearly a quarter century. Witness now the building of “The Wall” and”The Lost Documentary”.

From 1964 to 1973, groups such as the Rolling Stones, Animals, Cream, Blind Faith, Pink Floyd and Faces passed through London, as well as emblematic singers of that period, some with meteoric trajectory such as Otis Redding and Jimi Hendrix; others, poets of a single era, like Cat Stevens and Donovan, as well as those who would shine brighter a few years later, like Joe Cocker and Tina Turner. Screenplay
Pink Floyd released a 19-minute "video EP" in 1983 for The Final Cut, essentially four music videos in a continuous sequence, directed by Willie Christie, who was Roger Waters' brother-in-law. Scottish actor Alex McAvoy, who played the teacher in the film version of The Wall, had a prominent role in the video EP. Waters appears (though all but his mouth is silhouetted) as a patient singing the lyrics to a psychologist on the grounds of the Fletcher Memorial Home.

Viviane, a French Consul's wife, is in New Guinea to find exotic feathers for export to Paris. She encounters four European travelers who are en route to "La Vallée": The Valley, high in the Guinean mountains, is shown on maps as 'obscured by clouds' and is beyond their previous experiences. Viviane joins their trek to find rare feathers and soon becomes entwined in their journey. Their extended stay with the Mapuga tribe brings a denouement between western and indigenous values before their final quest toward the 'Valley of the Gods'.

When Pink Floyd played in Saint Tropez in August 70, the show was recorded for the tv show "Pop2". The audio has been floating around for years, but the video wasn't available until now.
One of the most celebrated recordings of the Pink Floyd, professionally filmed in San Francisco on the afternoon of the 29th of April 1970. Tracks performed are Atom Heart Mother, Cymbaline, Grantchester Meadows, Green Is Thy Colour, Careful With That Axe Eugene, Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun.
Self
Recorded on Pink Floyd's third American tour, this show introduced San Francisco to some of the newer material from the Ummagumma LPs, and a taste of things soon to come on the Atom Heart Mother LP, to be released later that year. This San Francisco audience is particularly quiet and attentive, a fact that seems to have facilitated a more intimate, unique and focused performance than other dates on this tour.
