John Fogerty had a triple-header of a celebratory concert on May, 28th, 2013 at the El Rey Theater. The event, broadcast live on AXS TV, commemorated his 68th birthday, the 45th anniversary of the first Credence Clearwater Revival album and the first day of release of his new album "Wrote a Song for Everyone."

Creedence Clearwater Revival (sometimes shortened to Creedence or CCR) was an American rock band popular in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The band consisted of lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter John Fogerty, rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty (John's brother), bassist Stu Cook, and drummer Doug Clifford. Their musical style encompassed the roots rock and swamp rock genres. Despite their San Francisco Bay Area origins, they portrayed themselves as Southern rock stylists, singing about bayous, catfish, the Mississippi River, and other popular elements of Southern iconography.

Haggard actually lived the rambling, gambling, love ‘em and leave ‘em, often brutal life that remains the bedrock of country music lyrics – he hopped his first freight train at the age of 10, became a chronic truant and drinker and was locked up some 17 times as a youngster. Serious criminal charges followed, including car theft. He was, literally, in the inmate audience in 1959, when Johnny Cash gave his New Year’s Day concert in San Quentin – and, as he’s said repeatedly, “my life changed forever.”

On October 29th and 30th, 2009, rock 'n' roll royalty held court at Madison Square Garden for what have been called 'the best concerts ever,' and 'where rock 'n' roll history was made.' The concerts featured a who's who of rock 'n' roll from the '50s to the '90s and included artists performing together in unprecedented combinations that will most likely never be witnessed again. King, Annie Lennox, Lou Reed, John Fogerty, Mick Jagger, Fergie and others. A 4-hour special of the concerts aired on HBO to high ratings, and was seen by tens of millions. Now this historic event is available on DVD.

John Fogerty returns to the Royal Albert Hall for the first time in 37 years - he previously performed there with Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1971. John and band perform a lengthy set - over an hour and forty minutes - in the classic venue, covering all phases of John's career, including standouts such as "Born On The Bayou," "Old Man Down The Road," "Proud Mary," "Fortunate Son" and "Rockin' All Over The World."
