When a rival nation sends troops to invade the Song Dynasty, the emperor sends general Yang Ye (Adam Cheng) to defend the nation. Li Mak-Jan is a swordsman who has wandered for a number of years searching for the reclusive master swordsman Hua. Turns out, her husband is quite evil, of course, and just a little bit insanely jealous as well as very interested in swords, particularly those belonging to masters. The husband sends his henchman to kill Li, but Li escapes.

A female extra-terrestrial (Chen Chen) appears on earth - in Hong Kong - to warn humankind of an impending catastrophe, but is arrested and institutionalised. She becomes trapped in a media circus, paraded as a freak. Exhausted and exasperated, the girl vanishes; a UFO is seen disappearing into the night sky.

A whacky 1974 comedy starring David Chiang who was also the director, that's one to see. Well it certainly is whacky, and the film is actually a number of short pieces, varying in length from a couple of minutes to the last story that is 30 minutes or so.

Red Lamp Shaded in Blood is a decent Martial World film of the type that Chu Yuan made famous for Shaw Brothers. These are often based on the works of Jin Yong and Ku Long. Red Lamp features all the requisite tropes of the genre: various sects of the Martial World, an evil sect scheming to rule the Martial World, an outcast orphan sent on a quest, mystically acquired Martial Arts, a mysterious hermit, a mysterious killer and , of course, star crossed lovers.

A 1967 Cantonese language action film directed by Cheung Wai-Gwong, starring Connie Chan, Adam Cheng and Liu Chia-Liang. Ming-Wai & Ming-Sing, a brother and sister (dual roles played by Connie Chan) who must go undercover in a gang to rescue their uncle.
