Tannie
The Windmill is a quirky and endearing love story about 20 year old Hendri, who arrives on the doorstep of a retirement village to live with his grandfather. Shortly after arriving, Hendri is taken under the wing of an elderly neighbour who forces him to take regular baths at her house. One night, Hendri follows three figures into the forest and finds a peculiar sight - elderly folks diving into a dam, a windmill rising from its moonlit centre. A beautiful young girl appears from amongst the trees in the darkness and introduces herself as Margot. Hendri is immediately smitten with this mysterious girl, and Margot is equally taken with Hendri.As Hendri's and Margot's summer romance blossoms, it soon becomes clear that all is not what it seems in this unusual village.
Aunt Bettie
Mareike (Lika Berning) is a city girl and successful in her demanding career. The same can not be said for her love life. After a confrontation with her boss, she decides to swop the city for the platteland and a bakery that she inherited from an aunt. But her new life in the small town is more than she expected. Based on the Afrikaans TV series by the same name, this comedy comes to the big screen. The plot-line is rather convoluted as befits a farce, and sees the main characters get themselves into serious troubles before everything works out like it is supposed to.

An Afrikaans story about a chubby 17-year old (Kallie) who struggles to fit in in his new school. On top of that, luck has it that he falls in love with the school bully's sister.
Mev Steyn
The story is about Poenie (Franscois Coertze) who burns his scrotum with a welding iron while working on his car and lands in hospital a few days before he is to marry the virgin Martie. This is the first mishap in a series of disasters and misunderstandings that provides many belly-clutching laughs. As Poenie's father Frikadel (Zak du Plessis) puts it, "Die seun sit sy voet uit die voordeur uit en dan is hy kniediep in die kak!"
