John is an avid role player. He has feelings for Brooke, a fellow role player, but when Brooke makes it clear to him that the feelings are far from mutual, John is thrown into despair and takes his own life. In the wake of this, his friends and fellow gamers are stalked by a mysterious black knight.

Two hunters who have journeyed deep into the woods stumble across a burial site. They decide to dig it up. It is only after they uncover a strange horned skull amongst the artifacts that they become aware of the evil they have unleashed. Getting out of the woods becomes a nightmare for the two men.
