Un chico se enamora de una estrella del porno y decide ir a Los Angeles a trabajar junto a él. Una vez allí descubre que su adolatrado actor es heterosexual, y que sólo trabaja en el porno gay por dinero.

Bajo el nombre de Hans Miller, realiza videos porno gay, principalmente para distribución en Alemania. Intercalado con un rodaje de la película Chez Rousek es una entrevista que lo sigue a su trabajo diario en una morgue, donde realiza una autopsia mientras habla de su trabajo. Además, se trae de Bulgaria a su novia y la instala en casa de su amigo. A estas alturas, Daniel es ya perfectamente consciente de que está siendo utilizado; a pesar de lo cual seguirá apoyando las ilegales y peligrosas actividades de su amante.

What comforts them, so far from home, is the feeling of being together. But the nights are long and unpredictable.

Interviews with a procurer and with nineteen boys and young men who are prostitutes in Prague. The youths range in age from 14 to 19. They hustle at the central train station and at clubs. Most of their clients are foreign tourists, many are German. The youths talk about why they hustle, their first trick, prices, dangers, what they know about AIDS, their fears (disease and loneliness), and how they imagine their futures. The film's title, its liturgical score, much of it elegiac, and shots of the city's statues of angels underline the vulnerability and callow lack of sophistication of the young men.

The genre met an untimely end with the advent of video, the last being made in 1983 "Mon ami, mon amour (My friend, my lover)". Since then, gay pornography has not been screened in French cinemas. This film is the result of five years of painstaking research and investigation. It features extensive interviews with the directors and actors illustrated by numerous extracts from their films.
