The Legend of El Chupacabra

Un grupo de cinco amigos americanos viaja a Panamá para relajarse. Con la ayuda de una joven guía local comienzan una excursión a una cascada en medio de la selva, pero lo que empieza siendo un viaje de placer se convierte en algo terrorífico cuando la chica desaparece misteriosamente.

El criptozoólogo Dr. Peña, un especialista del estudio de los animales ocultos, captura en una isla del Caribe a un ejemplar vivo de la mítica criatura chupacabras, y trata de llevarlo a los Estados Unidos oculto en un buque. A pesar de la satisfacción inicial por haber capturado a una criatura tan especial y legendaria, el terror se desencadenará.

Cuando James Murphy tenía doce años vio morir a su padre a manos del monstruo más famoso del mundo, el del lago Ness. Treinta años después, su incansable búsqueda para encontrar a la criatura le ha convertido en un curtido criptozoólogo, un experto en especies desconocidas.
